David Muñoz

David Muoz (David Muñoz Alcántara) inquiry deals with nomadism of thought and aesthetic praxis at the intersection between futurity and actuality. His recent work looks at the possible articulations of militant poetics and radical critique through arts grounded in liberation struggles against class, gender, and racial enclosures. In practice, he produces contextually grounded installations often involving collective study, drawing, writing, and translation as spaces of politics.

David is currently Basis voor Actuele Kunst BAK-Fellow 2019-2020. He has conducted studies as a Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University of Finland (2013-2019), off-record Research Associate at Goldsmiths University of London (2016-2017), Master in Applied Art and Design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki TAIK-UIAH (2012), and License in Architecture from National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM (2003).

Founder of NÆS — Nomad Agency/Archive of Emergent Studies (2011 to date).

Co-founder of Night Schoolers (2016-2019) and a member of the Editorial Board of Rab-Rab Press.
